Privacy Policy

Catalog respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

1. Information We Collect

We do not operate user accounts. The only information we handle is the metadata and encoded strings you choose to upload, such as the file name, file size, cover image, and a Base65 representation of the file. Catalog does not store original files, archives, executables, or media directly.

2. How We Use Information

Uploaded metadata is used only to display your file on the site. Encoded strings are stored so visitors can copy or download them. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

3. Cookies and Analytics

Catalog does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics by default. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out.

4. Data Retention

Uploaded metadata and encoded strings remain on the platform until you request removal or until we determine the content violates our terms. Contact us to request deletion.

5. Security

All strings and .b65 files are checked and tested by the Catalog team before being made public. Despite this, no online transmission is completely secure, so use your own judgment when downloading files.

6. Third-Party Links

Catalog may link to external sites such as Discord or GitHub. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.

7. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be linked from the site.
